Field Continuum
Field Continuum is where we are shaping the deeper simulation side of Modern Football and future work.
Field architecture and simulation systems are in active construction. Scaffold and Stygian are already helping guide the direction.
The goal is simple: keep simulation behavior controllable, deterministic, and pleasant to iterate on over time.
Field Continuum is being built because our simulation goals are bigger than what standard pipelines usually give us.
We wanted a place where behavior, iteration speed, and long-term maintainability can all improve together.
Field Continuum is intended to host real simulation logic and provide an environment where tactical behavior, world state, and tool workflow stay aligned.
It sits with Stygian for tooling and Scaffold for language-level control, so the full stack can move together.
This is still in active development, and the architecture changes as the work teaches us new things.
As it matures, this page tracks what changed and why.
